Secretary of legation in Washington. Assistant manager of the National Bank. Private secretary to the President of the Republic.
Deputy to the National Assembly during three legislatures and President of the same on various occasions.
First designate to exercise the Executive Power. At present (1934) Secretary of Finance (Secretario de Hacienda y Tesoro).
Delegate to the Third Pan American Commercial Congress of Washington, District of Columbia, 1927. To the Pan American Conference on Reciprocal Trade of Sacramento, California, 1930.
Member of the Liberal Party and former member of the Board of Directors of the same.
Acted as liquidator of the First National Bank and Trust Company of Panamá, 1930. Decorations: Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur. Medal of Merit (second class) of Ecuador.
Grand Cordon of the Order of the Liberator of Venezuela.
Grand Official of the Order of the Sun of Perú.
