Studied changes in the hemopoietic system with diseases of the digestive organs. Studied the pathology of the liver and metabolic processes in hot climates. Devised a differential diagnosis for Addison-Burmer’s disease.
Traced the genesis of hyperchrome megalocytic anemia in firegnant women. One of first Soviet internists to use lipotropic drugs choline, lipocainc, Vitamin Bj2 and folic acid) for treating chronic hepatitis, and protein hydrolysates for diseases of the internal organs. Wrote some 80 works.
Correspondent member, Uzbek Academy of Sciences from 1960. Correspondent member, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Medical Sciences from 1961.
