LAWSON, Eric Saint John was born on June 24, 1869. 5th son of late George Lawson, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, surgeon oculist to Queen Victoria.

Inspector of Police, Burmah, 1891. Transferred, on promotion, to India, 1893. Services applied for by Siamese Government and lent by Indian Government, 1898, to assist in reorganisation of police.
Decoration of 3rd class of White Elephant, 1904.
Commissioner of Police, Bangkok, Siam, since 1902.
