Erik Kiviat, American Ecologist, administrator, educator. Achievements include first studies of many organisms and communities in estuarine wetlands; research on significance of habitat change to conservation of the endangered bog turtle, on relationships of introduced wetland plants to native animals, and cultural-ecological studies of human use of wetlands.
