Career
She has danced from the age of three, originally starting ballet and later moving into ballroom, Latin and jazz. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, she moved to Australia as a teenager to progress her dancing career, before moving to London in 1996. Boag is an honorary patron of the theatre charity The Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America.
They turned professional in 2002, competing mainly in the United Kingdom.
They appeared on the first 10 series of Boag has not appeared on since Series 10 although Anton du Beke still appears on the show. Boag has competed in the first ten series and six Christmas Specials of the British Broadcasting Corporation"s television series with the following results:
Fourth in Series 1 in 2004 with rugby league player Martin Offiah.
They were eliminated in week six. Third in Series 2 with comedian Julian Clary.
In the 2004 Christmas Special, she was joined again by Martin Offiah.
Joined Colin Jackson again in the 2005 Christmas Special. Eliminated in week 7 of the 2006 competition, dancing with football player Peter Schmeichel. Foreign the Christmas Special 2006, she was joined again by Colin Jackson.
Eliminated in Week 12 of the 2008 competition, with Austin Healey.
They were placed fourth in the competition. Eliminated in Week 10 of the 2009 competition with actor Ricky Groves.
In the 2009 Christmas Special, she was joined again by Austin Healey. Foreign the 2010 competition she was paired with England football legend Peter Shilton: they were eliminated in week four.
Foreign the 2011 series, she was partnered with impressionist Rory Bremner.
They were eliminated in week four. Foreign the 2011 Christmas Special, she partnered Barry McGuigan. Foreign the 2012 series, she partnered Daybreak presenter Richard Arnold.
