Career
The actress is most known for her role as Alison Barrington on the canceled American soap opera Portuguese Charles. Her character"s pairing with Jamal Woods was a popular supercouple, but after the characters were torn apart, her character was paired with Brian Gaskill"s Rafe. After Lisa Ling left her role as a co-host of American Broadcasting Company"s The View in 2003, Erin joined the on-air auditions to replace her.
Although she was one of three finalists for the job, the co-host job eventually went to Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
Her most recent role is in the movie Americanizing Shelley (2007). In January 2013, Presley reprised her role Alison Barrington on General Hospital who came along with a teenage son, named Rafe, to Portuguese Charles, where she was then murdered.
