Career
His cartoons were published using his initials East.K. Kavanagh provided cartoons for The Irish Worker newspaper of the James Larkins, ITGWU. He also contributed cartoons to the The Irish Citizen, Fianna and Irish Freedom. A non-combatant, he was killed during the 1916 Easter Rising by a bullet, on April 25th, 1916.
