Formerly Fellow, and now Honourable Fellow, of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wales, 1903-1905 and 1909-1911. Fellow of Jesus College, Oxford, 1905-1906 and 1909-1910.
President of Section A of the British Associate, 1906. Fellow of the Philosophical Society, Of Cambridge University, and of the Physical Society London. Member of the Educational Committees of Glamorganshire and Cardiff County Councils.
Of Council of National Welsh Museum. Of the Court of the University of Bristol. And of the Council of the Royal Society, 1909-1910.
