Senior Assistant Medical Officer, Kent County Asylum, Chartham, 1878-1887. Resident Physician-Superintendent, City of London Asylum, near Daitford, 1887-1905. President of the British Dental Association, 1885.
Professor 1890- 1909. Past-President Medico-Psychological Association of Great Britain and Ireland. Vice-President Psychological Section, British Medical Association, 1904.
