Ernesto Ego-Aguirre, American Surgeon. Achievements include research in heterotopic whole liver transplantation in dogs, liver regeneration after major hepatectomy in normal, and in azathioprine treated, dogs, compartmental analysis using I131 tagged Rose Bengal; research on human lung function subsequent to storage and transplantation into a xenograft system, on erlich ascitis tumor cell growth in the presence of gastric mucin.
