Career
He played at second row (lock), and his nickname was "Fourteen". He also played for Aberdeen GSFP, Langholm Reconstruction Finance Corporation, and Aberdeen University. His other clubs were London Scottish Football Club, Revue Economique, the Army, and Barbarian F.C.
He was on the 1955 British Lions tour to South Africa.
He weighed 14 stone.
