Career
After participation in the France and the Balkans campaign and also over Crete, he assumed command of the III group of the Knight of the Order of the Garter 51 on the 25 November 1941. He was shot down during a mission on the 15 February 1943 in the Donets region and since then considered to be missing in action. Bibliography.
