Gluck received a Doctor of Philosophy in Lay Ministry, Anthropology and Theology in 1977 from Logos Christian College.
He began his career in Rational Cognitive Coaching in 1980. Specializing in a system he created deemed Anthropological Mythology, he worked to see permanent changes in his patients on a neurological and emotional level In the early 1980s, he incorporated clinical hypnosis, and became certified to practice and teach clinical hypnosis by the National Guild of Hypnotists in 1988.
Since then, he has amassed over 100,000 hours of working with patients, in which he has developed his unique brand of clinical hypnosis and life coaching.
He has served as a consultant for Deloitte Touche and published articles in Golf Life magazine. He is the author of the book Uncommon Sense: Thoughts of A Renegade Psychotherapist (), and hosts a monthly radio show on WABC called Living Better With Laura Smith.
In March of 2015, Gluck appeared on the The Better Show alongside dating expert, Rori Sassoon, to talk about the key to maintaining power couples. Gluck started a podcast called in May 2012.

The show was quickly taken down from by the show"s producers, but Fetzer had recorded the interview and published it on his own radio show, The Real Deal, along with commentary on the show. Fetzer and others recalled Gluck"s hosting style as agenda-driven and "hostile."
In September 2013, added romance expert Betsy Prioleau as a co-host, but she left in August 2014 because of creative differences. Beginning in October of 2014, Gluck occasionally had relationship coach and podcaster Mark Derian, from the popular blog Animus Empire, co-host some shows pertaining to masculinity, sexuality, and dating.
Derian was let go in February of 2015.
