Career
He is currently playing with the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League (National Hockey League). Lindell was selected by the Stars in the third round (74th overall) of the 2012 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Lindell made his Master of Science-liiga debut playing with Jokerit during the 2012-2013 Master of Science-liiga season.
On May 7, 2014, Lindell was signed to a three-year entry level contract with the Dallas Stars.
He was re-assigned to the Finnish Liiga for the 2014-2015 season, joining Ässät Pori. Lindell established a career high year in registering 14 goals and 35 points in 57 games with the club, which also led the entire Liiga in defenseman scoring, before he was re-asssigned by the Stars to AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars, on March 16, 2015.
During the 2015-2016 season, on January 18, 2016, Lindell received his first National Hockey League recall to the Dallas Stars. He made his debut the following day on January 19, 2016 against the Los Angeles Kings.
