Esko Antero Kalimo is a Finnish social scientist whose career has spanned more than five decades in the fields of social security research, comparative health systems, and international health policy. He is recognized for his contributions to the development of health services research in Finland and for his long-standing involvement in global health organizations. He was awarded the honorary title of professor in 1995.
Education
University of Helsinki 1955-1969, studies in sociology, psychology and statistics. PhD (sociology) in 1969.
