Career
She is known for her decorative work often inspired by Finland"s flora. Her Fennica and Krokus (crocus) series, coffee cup designs and dinner-ware decorations. Tomula "used a technique of both print and painting: black outline drawings were printed and then completed by hand painted details in different colors." She collaborated often with Kaj Franck who did the ceramic designs.
