Career
She competed in the marathon event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, China. Esther placed 24th in the marathon event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, China. Erb placed 27th in the United States. Olympic Marathon Trials January 14, 2012 in Houston, Texas.
She joined the Appalachian State University Mountaineers (2015) after highly successful years as an assistant coach at Rider University.
Erb trained and competed as a professional distance runner at ZAP Fitness for the last three years (2010 - 2013).
Previous to her post-collegiate running career, she spent two years as a Fulbright teaching fellow in Austria.
