He is the author of several books, including Deliberative Democracy in America: A Proposal for a Popular Branch of Government. Leib was born on September 15, 1975 and was raised in Riverdale, Bronx. He received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Doctor of Philosophy from Yale University, his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School, and a Master of Philisophy from Cambridge University in England.
After graduating from law school, Leib clerked for Chief Judge John M. Walker, Junior., of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Before arriving at Fordham, Leib litigated at Debevoise & Plimpton Limited Liability Partnership in New York City and taught at University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
