Career

A follower, life-long friend and literary executor of Walras, he gave a course of lectures with a Walrasian structure at the Collège Libre des Sciences Sociales as early as 1912. This later appeared as Principes.. in 1914. His earliest work had been on the state protection of viticulture and later work ranged widely, including specific studies of the social security system.
