Eugene Victor Wolfenstein was an American social theorist, practicing psychoanalyst, and a professor of political science at University of California, Los Los Angeles
Education
Wolfenstein graduated with his Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Columbia College in 1962. Wolfenstein received his Master of Arts in political science in 1964 and his Doctor of Philosophy in political science in 1965 from Princeton University. He also completed a Doctor of Philosophy in psychoanalysis from the Southern California Psychoanalytic Institute in 1984.

Moreover, he was in private practice from the time he received his degree up to the time of his death.
