Professor, Academy of Music, Berlin, 1873-1883, also toured as concert pianist in Italy, Russia, France and England. Cooperated with Florence Academy in commemorative concerts in honor of Cristofori, receiving gold medal and honorary diploma, also elected member Royal academics Florence, Bologna and Rome. Honored by Emperors Frederick, William II and King Humbert of Italy.
Alma Webster Powell became his pupil, 1901, and with her toured for 5 years in Germany, Russia, France and United States. Located in Brooklyn, 1904. Director Powell & Pirani Museum Institute.
President American Philharmonic Academy, Inc., since 1911. Officer Order of the Imperial German Crown. Commander Order of the Royal Italian Crown.
