Background
CORBET, Eustace Kynaston was born on June 22, 1854 in South Willingham Rectory, Lincolnshire. 7th and youngest son of late Reverend Andrew Corbett (2nd son of William Thompson Corbett, of Damhall, Cheshire, and Elsham, Lines. Of a younger branch of the Corbets of Acton Reynold) and Marianne, 3rd daughter of Sir M. W. Ridley, 3rd Baronet, of Blagdon, Northumberland.

Career
English Secretary to late Khedive Tewfik, 1885-1891. Judge in Native Court of Appeal, Cairo, 1891-1897. Procureur-G^neral, Native Courts, Egypt, 1897- 1908.
Has Grand Cordon of Medjidieh, and second class Osmanieh. Director of the Egyptian Educational Mission in England, since 1908.
