Moser started playing chess at the age of 10. Moser represented Austria in the open chess Mitropa Cup three times in 1999, 2002, and 2004. Her best result was in Zemplínska šírava 2004 when she scored 5/8 with an Elo performance rating of 2574.
Moser represented Austria in four Chess Olympiads, in Istanbul 2000, with the men"s team in Calvià 2004, in Dresden 2008 and Khanty-Mansiysk 2010.
Her best result was in the 38th Chess Olympiad in Dresden 2008, where she scored 8.5/10 and finished 6th on board 1 of the women"s team She also represented Austria in five European Women"s Team Chess Championships from 2003 to 2013.
Moser was awarded the title of Woman Grandmaster (WGM) in 2003 (Austria"s first WGM), and became an open International Master (IM) in 2004. She now plays for the team Wolfsberg in Austria.
And Office of the Secretary General Baden-Baden in the German Women"s Chess Bundesliga winning at least five times, and dominating for many years.
Moser has also published a small number of instructional chess DVDs with ChessBase. Moser completed a degree in Business Administration in Graz in 2009. She works for the Austrian chess magazine "Schach-Aktiv".
