Eva Janina Wieczorek was born on May 23, 1951, in Katowice in Poland.
Eva revealed her interest in painting at an early age. It was her uncle, a painter, who encouraged Eva to pursue her artistic training.
Wieczorek studied as an apprentice in the technical field. Then, she received some private lessons in painting from the graphic artist, painter and designer Roman Kalarus at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland.
Eva Janina Wieczorek produced her first canvases in 1969. They were the large format paintings made with charcoal.
In 1981, the artist has moved to Brühl, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia of Germany where she is living and working nowadays.
In 2006, Wieczorek shifted to the oil and computer paintings.
During her career, Eva Wieczorek presented her artworks many times in Brühl, Germany, in Poland as well as in such countries as Switzerland at the exhibition International Art Portal in Meisterschwanden (2008), Belgium at the Art Contemporary Gallery Croissant in Bruxelles, Croatia at the Gallery Tos in Punat , both in 2010. The following year the painter had her debut in the United Kingdom when she exhibited her paintings in London at the Parallax Art Fair held at La Galleria Pall Mall.
One of the recent solo shows of the painter took place at the Rathaus-Galerie in Leverkusen, Germany, in 2017.
Eva Janina Wieczorek is prolific and talented painter who is widely recognized.
The part of her artworks is preserved at the Silesian Museum in Katowice, Poland as well as in various galleries in Brühl, Germany.
The catalogues of Wieczorek’s exhibitions in Katowice are the part of the collections of the National Museum and the International Cultural Center in Krakow, and at the National Library of Poland in Warsaw.
