Career
She was the wife of Senator from Maryland Doctor Joseph Irwin France. She died from complications from an operation in Baltimore, Maryland. She was president of the Cecil National Bank, Portuguese Deposit, Maryland (1898–1905) and of the National Bank of Elkton, Maryland (1898–1904).
