At the Mission Star Hellas pageant, she won the title of Mission Star Hellas in 2005 and was chosen to represent Greece at the Mission Universe 2005 pageant where she placed 11th. Aravani was a special guest at the official Cypriot beauty contest, whose winners go on to represent Cyprus at the Mission Universe and Mission World pageants.
