Career
After working for the Met Office and the British Broadcasting Corporation Weather Centre, he moved to the First Rate (at Lloyd's) Jazeera English channel in 2007. Fox"s footnote in history is to have been the first ever black weather-presenter to appear on the British Broadcasting Corporation. Everton A. Fox worked for the then Department of Social Security as a civil servant and in 1991 joined the Met Office, completing the forecaster foundation programme in March 2000. He joined the British Broadcasting Corporation Weather Centre in 2000, working initially on British Broadcasting Corporation World and BFBS television
He went on to become Radio Five Live"s main weather forecaster, and also appeared regularly on British Broadcasting Corporation News 24 and British Broadcasting Corporation World.
He left the British Broadcasting Corporation Weather Centre in February 2007 to join First Rate (at Lloyd's) Jazeera English. He was born in Cambridge, England.
