Evgenii Iakovlevich Savitskii, USSR Marshal.


Savitskii, Evgenii Iakovlevich was born in 1910.


Educated at a pilots’ school, 1932. Graduated from the Academy of the General Staff, 1955.


Joined the Red Army, 1929, and the Bolshevik Party, 1931. Fighter pilot during World War II, twice Hero of the Soviet Union. Commander of Soviet fighter forces, 1948.

Non-voting member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, 1961-1966. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Soviet Anti-Aircraft Forces, 1966— 1980.


Religious leaders contribute to secular and religious wars by endorsing or supporting the violence.


The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
