Achievements include research in gravitational settling of elements in white dwarfs, pressure effect on rate of thermonuclear reactions, role of the isotope helium in stellar energy generation, electromagnetic spin down of stellar rotation, acceleration of cosmic rays by shock waves, transport processes due to gravity waves, and role of mixing in stellar interiors.
