Achievements

• In 1970 his pictures (The Reds Have Come (1961), Earth (1964), Mother, Sisters (1976), Cherry Tree (1969)) brought him the title of the People’s Artist of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics. In 1986 Moiseenko received the title of the Hero of Socialist Labour. People’s Artist of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics (1970), membershipin the Academy of Arts (1973), and in 1974 the highest award, the Lenin Prize
