Taking part in the actions round ColesI berg, and with General French’s columns to Pretoria, Diamond Hill, Middleburg, Barbeton, Carolina. Bethel, Ermelo, wounded at the lastnamed, and invalided home (despatches, Companion of the Distinguished Service Order). Adjutant Devon Yeomanry Brigade, 1901-1905.
