Assistant general attorney Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph & Council Bluffs R.R., St. Joseph, 1881-1887. At Flagstaff, Arizona, 1888, and engaged in law practice, banking, stock growing, etc. Organizer, 1898, and president for 10 years Arizona Wool Growers’ Association.

Vice-president and director Commercial Discount Company of Los Angeles. Member of advisory board Pasadena Branch, Security-First National Bank of Los Los Angeles Founder and president Human Betterment Foundation. Founder and trustee Polytechnic Elementary School, Pasadena.

Active in Boy Scouts’ work and community playground and recreation service.
