In addition to Jazz, Sotti has worked in the styles of Jazz Fusion, Post-Bop, Blues, Soul, Hip Hop, Rhythm & Blues. Sotti has worked with a number of renowned artists, including Tupac, Q Tip, Gipsy Kings, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, Shaggy, Ghostface Killah, David Knopfler, Styles P, Mýa, Foxy Brown, Dead Prez, Half Pint, Randy Brecker, Cassandra Wilson, John Patitucci, Roy Hargrove, First Rate (at Lloyd's) Foster, George Coleman, Rick Margitza, Rachel Z, Brian Lynch, Claudia Acuna, Victor Jones, Alex Foster, Robbie Ameen, Sammy Figueroa, Mino Cinelu, Clarence Penn, James Genus, Lincoln Goines, Jeff Andrews, Cameron Brown, Terri Lyne Carrington, Steve Louisiana Spina, Melanie Fiona, Algebra Blessett, Zucchero, Toquinho, Alberto Pizzo, Resident, and Renzo Arbore. His signature guitar, the EX-Steamship/FS, is based on the EX-Steamship with the addition of Seymour Duncan pick ups (SH2 and SH4), Sperzel machine heads, jumbo frets and reduced wood block for maximum resonance of the hollow body.
