He is one of the referees of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. He officiated four games in the 2015 Fifa World Cup U20 including the final's game. At 13th January game between South Korea and Uzbekistan Fahad Al-Midrasi made a cruical mistake.

South Koreans were awarded a penalty in the 19th minute after an apparent handball by Uzbek midfielder Otabek Shukurov. However, the replay clearly showed that the ball went off of Shukurov’s chest, not his hand.
