Career
He escaped Afghanistan to Pakistan and eventually settling in the United States. He appeared in a great number of Asian ethnic roles in American films. He returned to Afghanistan as an interpreter with the United States. Marines from 2009-2010.
After returning, he wrote a memoir, Fahim Speaks that was released in early 2012.
The book received the first place for a biography from the Military Writers Society of America. He currently lives in Orange County, California and continues work in television and movies.
