Farah Mahbub

Mahbub"s father is prominent lawyer Mahbubur Rahman. Mahbub passed SSC from Viqarunnisa Noon School and College in 1983 and Higher School Certificate from Holy Cross College in 1985. Mahbub enrolled as an Advocate of the District Court on September 15, 1992.
After her success in district court, she enlisted in the High Court Division and the Appellate Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court on April 9, 1994 and May 15, 2002 respectively.
She was elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court Division on August 8, 2004 and appointed Judge of the same Division on August 23, 2006. She will retire on May 26, 2033.
She visited many countries including India, Pakistan, Thailand, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Germany and Saudi Arabia. After retirement of Justice Mamnoon Rahman on December 8, 2032 she will be the senior most justice of Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
