He was introduced to homeopathy in June 1976, when he joined the Bombay Homeopathic Medical College, after leaving his studies of traditional medicine. He obtained an LCEH certification in 1979. He states he is the first homeopath to obtain an Doctor of Medicine degree in India.
Master was instrumental in starting homeopathic outpatient departments in a number of mainstream ("allopathic", in homeopathic jargon) medical institutions, such as Bombay Hospital, KEM Hospital, and Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune.
Honors and
Master is an honorary fellow of the United Kingdom Homeopathic Medicine Association, and was awarded an honorary doctorate in homeopathy, conferred by the Center of Advanced Studies in Homeopathy, operated by Archibel, Belgium. The Bombay Parsee Association has awarded Master a "BPA Achievement Award". Master was invited to the United Kingdom House of Lords by Aaron Kenneth Ward Atherton, Lord of Witley and Hurcott (himself a practicing homeopath), to be honored with the title "Master of Homeopathy" on September 26th 2008, and is the first Indian to be so honored. Master has also received praise from Charles Tankard Hahnemann, 6th descendant of Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy.
Master is an observant Zoroastrian, and explicitly states: "I only treat. He cures".
