Graduate as Second lieutenant, Salvador Military Academy, 1874. Student Chilton Hill School, Elizabeth, New Jersey, 1874-1877.

Career

Served in campaign of 1890, and promoted to Lieutenant-colonel on staff. Member Congress, San Salvador, 1894, 1895 (speaker of House both terms). President Banco Salvadoreiro (bank), 1896-1907.
