During World War II directed partisan activities behind German lines. Deputy, USSR Supreme Soviet of 1954 and 1958 convocation. Since 1958 member, Draft Bills Commission, USSR Supreme Soviet.
1959 member, USSR Supreme Soviet delegation to India. Voting delegation at 1956 Communist Party of the Soviet Union Congress. 1926-1931 in Black Sea Fleet.
Later fitter, Leningrad plant. 1931-1937 engaged in Party work in Leningrad. 1937-1939 Secretary, Krasnoe Selo Rayon Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks), Leningrad Oblast.
