of X-ray research and a chess grandmaster of the USSR. During World War II, Head of the Ukrainian National Rada, close to General Vlasov. Signed the Prague Manifesto, 1944.
After World War II, in DP camps in Germany. Defended the idea of a federal union between Russia and the Ukraine, polemicized with Ukrainian separatists. Moved to Canada, 1949.
Professor of X-ray anatomy at Ottawa University, 1949-1970, and one of the best known Canadian radiologists. Wrote an autobiography, Moi Put К Prazhskomu Manifestu, USA, 1980.
