Graduated from the Military-Political Academy, 1937.
Joined the Red Army, 1926. From the 1930s, political officer in the army. Professor, and later head, of the MilitaryPolitical Academy, training political commissars for the armed forces.
Participated in World War II as a political officer. After World War II, had leading posts in the Soviet Occupation Forces in East Germany. Returned to the Military-Political Academy, 1956-1961.
Religion is bad because it divides people, and is a cause of conflict and war.
The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
