Fedor KONSTANTINOV, USSR Philosopher. Professor; corresponding member, USSR Academy of Science, since 1953; Chief Editor, journal “Kommunist”, since 1958; board member, USSR Union of Journalists; candidate member of the Central Committee, Communist Party of the Soviet Union, 1956-1961. Member, Communist Party, since 1918.


KONSTANTINOV, Fedor was born in 1901.


1932 graduated Institute of Red Professor.


Specialist in theory of Marxist philosophy. 1952-1954 Chief Editor, journal “Voprosy filosofii” (Problems of Philosophy). 1955-1958 member, Editor Board, journal “Kommunist”.

1958 attended meeting of representative of 12 Communist parties to discuss organ, of theoretical journal “Problemy mira i sotsializma” (Problems of Peace and Socialism). Member, Editorial Board, “Philosophy” section, “Bolshaya sovetskaya entsiklopediya” (Large Soviet Encyclopedia). 1955 Deputy, Moscow City Soviet.

Since 1960 Chief Editor, “Filosofskaya entsiklopediya” (Encyclopedia of Philosophy). While a student, became Bureau member, Party Cell, Institute of Red Professor. 1932-1941 instructor and Party worker.

1941-1942 reader, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). 1942-1945 political propaganda work in Soviet Army. Since 1945 associate, Institute of Philosophy, USSR Academy of Science.

1954-1955 Rector, Academy, of Society Science, Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. 1955-1958 Head,Department of Propaganda and Agitation, Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
