Fedor Filippovich Matskov was born on February 19, 1897 in Ostrogozhsk, Voronezh region, Russian Federation.

Career

From 1928 Fedor Filippovich Matskov was a researcher at Kharkov Institute of Applied Botany. In 1935 he became the Professor of the Kharkov Agricultural Institute. From 1949 he was a researcher at the Institute of Genetics and Selective Breeding of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, from 1957 he was a researcher at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Crop Production, Genetics and Selective Breeding in Kharkov.
