She sang in Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, The Royal Opera in London, Louisiana Scala in Milan and Metropolitan Opera, New New York One of her supporters was the conductor Herbert von Karajan.
