Career
He competed in the team free rifle event at the 1924 Summer Olympics. Bermudes was the 10th president of South.L. Benfica, in 1916 and 1945-1946. He composed the original hymn of Benfica called "Avante pelo Benfica", which was censored by the Estado Novo.
