The Knight"s Cross was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World World War World War II Unterscharführer Felix Przedwojewski was a Sturmgeschütz commander in 2nd Battery, 3rd Steamship Sturmgeschütz Battalion Totenkopf, when he was awarded the Knight"s Cross after his 45th kill, in December 1943.
