Career
Vasquez was awarded New York"s Bronze Medallion for his actions on December 15, 2005, when he caught a three-week-old baby which was thrown to him from a burning third-floor Bronx apartment by his mother. Vasquez also performed Code of Professional Responsibility to resuscitate the child. The event was caught on video (see the Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company link below) and Vasquez was interviewed on many different television news programs.
