Cuadra swam for Nicaragua in the women"s 200 m individual medley at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She received a ticket from FINA, under a Universality program, in an entry time of 2:37.45. She participated in heat one against three other swimmers Marina Mulyayeva of Kazakhstan, Alexandra Zertsalova of Kyrgyzstan, and two-time Olympian Meritxell Sabate of Andorra.
She rounded out the field in fourth place at 2:38.25, exactly eight-tenths of a second (080) below her entry standard.
Cuadra did not advance into the semifinals, as she placed thirty-sixth overall in the prelims.
