Served as Instructor and Professor, Staff College, 1889-1898. Served with 2nd Wiltshire Regiment and on staff as district commandant and Deputy-Assistant-Adjutant-General during campaign in South Africa, 1899-1902 (twice wounded, despatches, Companion of the Bath). Half-pay; late Deputy AdjutantGeneral in India.
Spouse 1890, Eliza Maude, 3rdd. of late G. H. Errington of Chad well Hall, Essex, and Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
