Benson began her season with a 10k on the road at Vancover Sun Run where she ran 35:49. In April 2015, she had a personal best of 2:07.
She ran the Canadian standard to compete at 2015 World Championships in Athletics – Women"s 800 metres where she again ran a personal best time of 1:59.59 in the 800 metres in the semi-finals to place 17th in the world.
